Welcome!<\/strong> I\u2019m Mrunalini, the primary voice you\u2019ll hear on this site. The work here, however, is a reflection of my family\u2019s journey to create a more sustainable life.<\/p>\n

Over the last several years, our family has gone through a lot of change and have taken on some very big challenges. This journey is ongoing but along the way, I have made some important observations:<\/p>\n

Kindness is a core human value.<\/strong> This often gets lost in today\u2019s media.<\/p>\n

The majority of people simply want to make good choices<\/strong> and take care of themselves and their families. <\/p>\n

More and more people are recognizing that their personal choices have an impact on the world<\/strong> around them and are interested in making better choices for the planet and society. <\/p>\n

There is a sea of information and misinformation<\/strong> and people are too busy to sort it out. <\/p>\n

Balanced information is hard to come by<\/strong>\u2013highly opinionated voices or clever marketing often take center stage. <\/p>\n

Why KindHub?<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

I created KindHub to solve that problem and demonstrate that kindness can be a powerful decision making tool in our daily lives and actions. Our mission is to provide balanced, thought-provoking, and actionable intelligence for those seeking a more sustainable life<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Here you will find articles, product reviews and analyses that will encourage you to dig a couple of layers deeper into everyday actions and choices, many of which we take for granted. We will provide balanced context through a lens of kindness and impact which will help clarify your decision making so that you can take actions to align with your values. <\/p>\n

We will organize every choice and action into three types of kind \u2013 Kind to Self<\/strong><\/span> (Mental Health and Personal Wellbeing), Kind to the Earth<\/strong><\/span> (Resource intensiveness and Byproducts) and Kind to Others<\/strong><\/span> (Human inequality, Human & Animal Suffering). \u201cKind to self\u201d is table stakes, we should not do things that are not kind to ourselves. The big question is how can adjust our choices so that we can have an outsized positive impact on the world? Can we stack simple choices so that we can be kind to the earth and others also. Can simple actions add up? <\/p>\n

We believe so! <\/p>\n

We recognize that every person is on a different journey and starting point, so we will also highlight these changes along a continuum \u2013 from one small action to larger or multiple actions. You can choose what makes sense for you. What matters is that you start wherever you are, make one change, do it consistently, then add another, and one more after that. We can each do something and build on it. Now imagine, your entire family and neighborhood doing the same thing, imagine your entire state and country. You get it\u2013it\u2019s the power of stacking, the power of multiplication.<\/p>\n

This is what we hope our work will do\u2013be the support and foster a community that will provide a catalyst for those multiple recurrent changes that will, over time, shift the needle on some of the biggest problems facing our world. We are bombarded with so much information, from the climate crisis to animal cruelty to human inequality to the mental health crisis, it\u2019s overwhelming! <\/p>\n

But it doesn\u2019t have to be.<\/p>\n
