Who are we?

Across the world ‘status quo’ leadership is turning women away from leading at a time when their knowledge, expertise and insights are needed more than ever.

Women Emerging (WE) is a global movement redefining leadership so that more women say ‘If that’s leading I’m in’.

In 2022, WE Founder, Julia Middleton led a virtual expedition of 24 women from across the world to explore leadership. On what has become known as the First Expedition the members created a ‘map’, which provides a
framework through which all women can explore leading from their unique perspective and context.

We offer this ‘map’ and invite you to begin your own expedition. On our Hub we will support you as you go, with free resources, workshops, podcast episodes, interviews
and stories, and provide a place for you to share your learning with others in our global community.

Women Emerging have created a framework which provides shape and structure for women to explore leadership. We call this framework an ‘Expedition’. A Women Emerging expedition guides you to explore leading through four distinct lenses, known as “the four Es”: Essence, Elements, Expression, Energy.
